Dlectricity Map

The DLECTRICITY map is a mobile-friendly tool for visitors that lists each project by their number. Click on the number to pull up a tab to learn more about the artist and their artwork. You can even walk through the festival footprint exploring art installations by following the numbers in order—#1 Joo Won Park – Electronic Music Ensembles is a great place to start and is located right near Wayne State’s parking deck on Putnam Street.

Each art installation will have signage on site that will include a QR code that visitors can scan to learn more about the artist.

You will be able to pick up a printed map with a list of the art installations and the schedule of performances at the DLECTRICITY Information booth located on Kirby Street (between Woodward and John R).

DDOT or SMART BUS

DDOT Bus Most city buses intersect with Woodward Avenue. The Woodward bus route is #4 and runs 24/7 and is accessible from Plum Market downtown and all along Woodward. It stops north of Warren on either side near the DIA. Other popular routes include #16-Dexter (on Cass) which can take you all the way down to DTE’s Beacon Park and #8-Warren. Click here for a system map.

SMART Bus Most SMART buses operate in the suburbs but some run during rush hour and the FAST routes run all day. They run on Gratiot, Woodward & Michigan Ave so you can transfer to them to reach the Cultural Center. Click here for a system map.

TransitApp is one of the best ways to plan your trip. SMART also offers an app. Both are good for planning trips but you cannot purchase fares on them. For more information on how to travel to Detroit’s Cultural Center or DTE’s Beacon Park, check out Transit Guide: Detroit.

Scooters

You’re likely to find a Bird, Spin, Lime or Boaz scooter on just about every street corner. Be careful riding on the sidewalks due to pedestrians and turning cars. Use caution if riding in the streets. In the Cultural Center the only street with bike lanes is Cass. For more transit options, check out Transit Guide: Detroit.
