Mask Required Within the Art Installation Zone (Regardless of Vaccination Status). Social Distancing Encouraged.

Artist Information

The Interactive Magic Mirror uses the Azure Kinect 3D camera, and a projector, a laptop and a tablet to create a customizable live VFX art piece set to music where people’s movement create the art. Step in front of the camera, wave your arms, do a dance, spin around and jump to build your own unique visual masterpiece. Choose your level of interactivity. Keep it simple in auto mode where tailored looks are randomly rotated every 20 seconds. Or create your own style by stacking together different effects and backgrounds in any color you choose. The effects are designed to ‘dance’ to the music so the glows, size, speed and more of each effect react to the beat. The performers can choose from a list of different music to play with their experience. The exhibit will also feature gesture recognition and recognize certain poses. Hold your hands over your head for two seconds and watch the fireworks start to go off. Dancers will also be brought in at scheduled times for unique performances.
