11:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Overview of DLECTRICITY and the application process
This info session focuses on what the Curatorial Committee is looking for and will provide strategies for developing a successful application. Case studies will be provided.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Video Projectors 101 (& Other Tech)
This new session will provide more insight on how to select the best video projector for your project, if needed, as well as explore audio and other LED lighting strategies. This is your opportunity to ask technical questions and test out your ideas with the DLECTRICITY team!
STEP 4 – Complete the Online Application
Applications may only be submitted online through Slideroom from January 14, 2020, through March 3, 2020. It is free to apply!
THE DLECTRICITY FOOTPRINT
DLECTRICITY will take place OUTSIDE along Midtown’s Woodward Corridor and will also include installations at DTE Beacon Park, an expansive 1.2 acres green space located on the western edge of downtown Detroit, at 1901 Grand River Ave. See the site maps below.
Beacon Park provides engaging programming and events, bringing the Detroit community together year-round.
