MOCAD Youth Earn a Bike Program

We’re super happy to support the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit – MOCAD and their new summer “Youth Earn a Bike” program with Back Alley Bikes. It’s a weeklong program that teaches general maintenance, repairs, bike safety and ends with participants earning a bike, helmet, lock and backpack. To Apply: Map your ideal bike ride with a one page explanation, write a poem or make a video and send to Youth Program Producer Cam Brown at [email protected] by Friday, July 21, 2017 for consideration! Participants must be available for all workshops, the bike decorating workshop on September 16, 2017 and the DLECTRICITY light bike parade on September 22, 2017.
