Enter a Virtual Polygon World with View Tracing #3

#DLECTRICITY presents “View Tracing #3” by Takayuki Mori, an installation of fluorescent threads and ultraviolet light stretched over spaces and objects. After dark, only the threads fluoresce, and the mass and weight are removed from the space and transformed into a VIRTUAL POLYGON WORLD.

Viewers enter into the vague space to be transformed, and experience a transitional space between 2D and 3D! Artist Takayuki Mori hopes this work will give viewers a chance to take a fresh look at the materials and spaces around us, and our relationship with them.

This project will be located in the alcove underneath Prentis Hall on the Wayne State University campus on September 24th and 25th. Read more about this project and others by clicking the “ARTWORKS” tab!
